It’s time to say goodbye. We are announcing that Greenwood's German European Restaurant will close its doors after dinner service on Saturday, January 11, 2020, as we are retiring. Vlatka and I have met many great people in the past 13 years, and we feel a mixture of sadness and happiness as we move into our next chapter. We thank you very much for the loyalty you have shown us.

We will cherish our fond memories of you, our customers, and we wish you a happy and healthy new year.

Greenwoods offers Fort Worth’s most authentic German dining experience in a modern yet homey, family-run setting. Specially selected German beer and wine options compliment master chef Peter Grünewald’s interpretations of timeless German dishes, blending influences from French, Italian, Swiss, and Balkan cuisines. A varied menu includes traditional German ‘meat and potatoes’ dishes like sauerbraten, schnitzels, and bratwursts, as well as salmon, pasta, salads, and wide-ranging, creative specials. Pair those with a German or Italian wine, or choose from a variety of German beers (or a Budweiser or O’Doul’s).

Hand-Crafted German Bread

“Slice of Nature” bread is a natural, vegan, healthy twist on traditional German “vollkorn” or whole grain bread.
